Help guys! Extra credit riddle.

Okay, so I have this riddle for extra credit. I really need these points. I’m getting a 64 in math right now.

The riddle is…

There’s two kinds of people - green and orange. The green guys always tell the truth, and the orange always lie. 

You’re on a boat and see two men far off stranded on an island. You call out to them, asking what their color is.

The first guy yells out but you can’t hear his answer. 

The second guy then says, “He said he’s green, and so am I!”

So the question is… what color are the two guys? There’s one answer. /:
